Let Them Go

If holding onto certain relationships (people, ideas, beliefs, experiences, etc) hurts, requires rationalizing, or is a big effort - that is a sure sign that it is past time to let go. (Thinking of hanging onto a cliff with white knuckled grip.)

There is just SO much relief in letting go. Yes, you’re going to fall. But you will be falling AWAY from all that unhappiness and unrequited effort. Yes, other emotions may arise as well, but the relief is what you should be focusing on. Hug that relief. Kiss that relief. Snuggle in with that relief.

Those other emotions (worry, doubt, sadness) arise from fear of the unknown - and what is happening, right here, right now, with letting go (relief, lightening of your load, a break) is the only thing that is real and true. The other emotions aren’t based on fact. Your relief is. In fact, it’s a natural byproduct of letting go of something that doesn’t serve you. You just can’t get more confirmation, more

of a thumbs up from the Youniverse, than that!

All those “what if”s that arise - give them no more attention than you would a passing cloud. With the letting go, you are now opening a space for that old energy to renew into something that is on par with the true You, this new You, and that wonderful relief that hails in its arrival.

You won’t know what this new is - but you are SAFE to move on. You are SAFE to prefer ease. You are SAFE to demand real and kind love. You are SAFE to walk away from that old, stale reality. You are SAFE to be excited about what is coming to fill in that open space.

Can you feel the absolute deliverance within this? Let your relief get so big that it crowds out any fearful emotions. Can’t you just feel your entire being relaxing? Ahhhhh.

Take that deep breath and say, “Thank you.”

Thank you for helping me let all that and them go.

Thank you for helping me unfurl my cramping fingers and open my arms in faith and trust.

Thank you for helping me “fall” away from all that doesn’t serve me.

Thank you for helping me grow with faith and trust.

Thank you for the confidence that is now rushing in.

THANK YOU.
